Designated Safeguarding Training
For senior professionals who are responsible for making safeguarding decisions, we can deliver training that meets the requirements of senior education, social care and other children's sector professionals. Delivery is online by Microsoft Teams.
Child Protection Training
We offer a range of training solutions for your staff, whether they require a general overview (Level 1) of safeguarding and child protection or a more detailed (Level 2) Awareness raising session. Our goal is to help professional staff understand their safeguarding responsibilities and help them to spot concerns as they arise.. This will be undertaken via Microsoft Teams unless Essex based, when an on-site face to face session may be available.
"Light bite" Safeguarding Sessions
We offer training and support for a variety of bespoke subjects that can be tailored for your staff group. Recent examples include 2 hour sessions on Child Neglect, Professional Curiosity, and Undertaking Challenging Conversations. Delivery online by Microsoft Teams.
'Critical Friend' Reviews
We can provide a specific audit review of your safeguarding processes, whether that be a remote review of policies and procedures, or an on-site visit to inspect your current systems and staff awareness. This is not an 'Ofsted/CQC' type inspection, rather a professional consultation working with you to evaluate your current systems and make suggestions if required to enhance them.
Policies Review
If need be, we can take a look at your safeguarding policies and procedures to evaluate validity and currency in line with legislative/local guidance requirements.
